St. Huberts Estate Wins VIC State Award

St. Huberts Estate Wins VIC State Award

We congratulate our Victorian Licensee Element Windows for winning the VIC State Award for their St. Huberts Estate project. This is part of the Australian Glass & Window Association Design awards for the ‘Commercial Window and Glass Project $100K to $750K’.

Element Windows had the pleasure of manufacturing and installing Thermeco’s commercial systems (EC400CP & EC400FL). They were determined to achieve the design intent, which pushed the limits on the products, design and energy efficiencies.

This job posed various challenges due to the sizes, spans and weights required. Some of the windows spanned around 28m wide and  6m high. Many meetings and in-depth detailing with Elements design team, engineering team and production crew to get it all perfect. There were factors such as wind-loads, deflections, energy efficiencies, material strength etc. which required a great deal of attention to detail.

The end result is breathtaking and a tribute to how Thermeco window systems can be altered to fit any design and sustainability brief.

They now are a National Finalist for the AGWA Design Awards. National winners will be announced next month. Good Luck Element Windows!

“Established in 1862 as one of the first wineries in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, we have always embraced a pioneering spirit. St Hubert’s has helped position the region as a premium wine producing area and was a champion of the Yarra Valleys wine renaissance in the 1960’s.

In 2022 we relaunched our new contemporary cellar door and Notes retail wine shop and look forward to welcoming you for tasting seven days a week.

St Hubert’s has a long history of producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon and today continues to be lauded for its portfolio of cool climate wines which also include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Roussanne. With increased vigour and excitement we have launched seven new wines including Sparkling Rose, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Munier and a new tier or reserve wines!

Local cheese and Charcuterie are available to accompany a tasting, or simply walk -in for a glass overlooking the vineyard.”
