We recently had the pleasure of attending the 2025 Australian Glass & Window Association (AGWA) Design Awards, an event that celebrates excellence and innovation in Australia’s glass and window industry. AGWA is the national body representing window, glass, and glazing manufacturers and suppliers, championing quality, compliance, and design across the sector.
We’re proud to share that our Victorian fabricator European Window Co. took home the award for Best Use of Residential Windows for their stunning Melbourne Project, which features all-natural brass windows sourced from Secco in Italy—a standout achievement in a highly competitive category that included three Highly Commended recognitions. The evening was a fantastic celebration of the industry’s best, acknowledging the creativity, craftsmanship, and technical expertise behind some truly exceptional projects.

We were also thrilled to see European Window receive a Highly Commended award for their White House project, which showcased the Thermeco award-winning sliding door—another testament to the innovation and quality emerging from our industry. As part of the awards structure, all state winners automatically become national finalists, with the national winners set to be announced at the upcoming AGWA Conference in August.
Nights like this remind us how much talent exists in our community and the importance of recognising the hard work behind these complex, beautiful architectural solutions. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists—your dedication continues to raise the bar for what’s possible in Australian design and construction. We’re excited to see what the national stage will bring.
