Canopy House

Canopy House

Canopy House by Leeton Pointon Architects + Interiors is a sculptural family home in Melbourne, inspired by the rhythm and softness of the surrounding treetops. Its sweeping curved form appears to float above a solid base, drawing the natural canopy into the architecture and creating a sense of lightness and calm.

A defining detail of the design is the use of hand-crafted, thermally broken curved windows, which wrap the home in gentle arcs of glass, enhancing both performance and visual flow. Inside, the spaces unfold gradually—sunken lounges, layered textures, and warm materials create a rich, tactile experience. Blurring the lines between architecture, landscape, and light, Canopy House offers a grounded yet elevated sense of retreat.
